Broken Bow Craft Invasion of '09

When my fly-fishin' dad purchased this:

And then decorated it up like this:

I'm pretty sure this:

wasn't exactly what he had in mind.

But we thoroughly enjoyed it...thanks Dad!

This weekend my friend Kristi (of 28 years!) and I took a road trip to my parents' cabin. We loaded down her car with enough crafting supplies to decorate a small country and headed out. We got there and immediately began crafting.

On the agenda:
1 Scrapbook
1 Crocheted scarf
1 "Rag Bag"
1 something with chalkboard paint

I am happy to report we got all of those things done and then some! Let's take a look, shall we?

Here we have a mirror I sprayed with chalkboard paint and glued a fall "pick" onto. I wrote "FALL" with white chalk when I got home. The mirror was messed up and had been buried in the back of a cabinet. Now it has a purpose in life!

Cute little pumpkin pillow thingys that just about anyone could make.

Fall pick hung upside-down with bow.

The $300-Anthropologie-knock-off-Rag Bag (look it up if you don't believe me)

Fall Wreath #1 (Harvest theme)

Kristi made fall wreath #2 but I will wait and let her share that with you on Septemeber 22! It is awesome!

One of my "mock scarves" in progesss

Mod Podge Scrapbook Board (metal magnetic clips were glued on later-- for holding photos)

I think that's it. So much fun, and so productive, we decided it needed to be done every quarter. Soooo, we will be heading back soon for our Christmas Craft Weekend! Can. Not. Wait.

Oh! That reminds me...

  12. Hi Nancy,
This particular bag is for a giveaway I am doing on the 22nd. You can certainly enter that by leaving a comment that day, becoming a follower of the blog, or sharing an idea for a fall wreath.

I will have to do some thinking about how much I would charge for this bag. It is a very time consuming project. If you would send me an email, I would be happy to get back with you. Thanks!!
