Now, here's the tricky part. If you want to win a door prize, you need to leave a comment with the number of entries to which you are entitled. I trust that we are all honest and can add, so the honor system it will be. The number you type in the comment section will be the number of times I write your name on a little piece of paper. I will then put those pieces of paper in a bowl and draw 4 lucky winners ( I added a super secret new door prize!). I will announce the winners on Wednesday.
These are the various ways you can enter:
1. Show us the goods-- If you are a blogger, then you need to create a post that shows us your wreath and hopefully tells us how to make one of our own. Then click on the MckLinky thing down there and link to your wreath related post. (Not your main page, but the specific wreath post, thanks.) If you are not a blogger but want to show off too, then please email me your pictures and info and I will share it on my blog. Email: keeliesue@live.com. (3 entries)
2. Invite your friends! You can use the button at the top of this post. Please make it a link back to this Red Writing post. This will get more people to come to the party! (2 entries)
3. Share somebody else's goods. Maybe you didn't get a chance to make your wreath yet, but you saw a great idea. You can share that by typing a link in the comments section (please only use MckLinky for your own posts). (1 entry)
4. Leave a comment. This needs to be a comment related to the wreaths, not just the comment that tells me how many entries you get. Although you can combine the two.(1 entry)
5. Follow Red Writing. If you become a follower, or if you already are a follower you automatically get an entry. *Note: You do NOT have to have a blog to follow, just register on Blogger.(1 entry)
Yes, I am aware that this extremely long and detailed list of ways to enter the door prize drawing is a bit indulgent, as Simon would say. As stated before, I got a little bit carried away with this wreath party. Just humor me, k?

I enjoy making bows. This particular ribbon provided just the right amount of "poufiness" for my liking. You may also notice spray painted the entire wreath with a brighter green prior to stuffing stuff in it. That seemed to bring it back to life...and keep the brittle leaves from falling off.
I found this cute little sign and thought it the perfect finishing touch!
I think "pumpkin pie," whether painted or eaten, is always a good thing. Don't you?
I am also linked up to the DIY Show-Off's Fall Festival. You really need to go over there and check out the amazing fall projects! One of my fave blogs!!
AND the party is linked up to Met Monday at Between Naps on the Porch! Check out the great stuff over there as well.
One more link-up at Twice Remembered for Make Your Monday!
Love the Pumpkin Pie wreath! Super duper cute! Hopefully I understand your instructions enough to do it right. You know me. I'm a bit challenged! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your wreath! It is wonderfully rustic, would go incredibly well with my interior... hehe! Great job, and thanks for doing something like this to showcase our little projects! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I'm impressed! I am in NEED of a fall wreath - but don't have one yet....nothing has struck me.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I will have to take pics and link!
ReplyDeleteSo far so good! I am so proud that the MckLinky thing worked! Everyone keep coming back to check on new things since the party goes on to the 22nd! Can't wait to see all the pretties!
ReplyDeleteThanks for inviting me to the party! Your Pumpkin Pie wreath is fabulous, I love the idea of using a sign on a wreath.
ReplyDeleteI'll be back tomorrow to visit everyone else & count up my entries for the fabulous giveaway!
okay, I counted at least 7 entries. You know I posted and invited others, and you know I'm a follower!
ReplyDeleteYours is beautiful. Did you make your bow?
I already gave compliments to "Luvin This Life", too.
Now, I still have lots of school work I need to do, and should be in bed!
This was fun! I really thought I would back out of posting my pictures.
Great idea for a party, but I can't get a wreath together to meet the deadline. I'll definitely be back to see al the inspiration though. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteSandy--you do not give yourself enough credit! The idea of using a hanger is so great! I am totally going to do that. Yes, it is simple--but simple is often beautiful, as in the case of your wreaths, and we need simplicity in our lives! Once again, thank you for joining in and being such a good blog buddy. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteLove the new wreath !!!! So cute, good job !
ReplyDeleteKammy

Thanks for the invite!! Love your blog! Super cute. And your wreathe is fabulous! I love how you hung pumpkins on it. And yes, pumpkin pie is good on a sign or eaten :) Ummm, let's see, I believe I have 5 entries as I am a follower now as well. Glad you found me!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the wreath! I am linking up to a post I did last week that shows my wreath on the front door. I hope you will stop over for a visit, and I look forward to following your blog!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cara
I'm a bad wreath maker, so I'll just be cheering from the stands on this one... I look forward to seeing cute wreaths and maybe getting tips on how to do them myself!!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I love all the projects! Girls, you have done a fabulous job. These wreaths are just singing "Fall is Here!"
ReplyDelete(I believe I should receive 7 entries! Yes!!)
Ummm...since I'm such a failure, I hereby give my entries (what,3 maybe 4?) to Lindee. =( I promise you I went to Hobby Lobby and Michael's...had something in mind. HOWEVER, when I walked in, I becamse so overwhelmed I had to leave...BOTH times! LOL, crafts are new territory for me. So give me credit for trying LOL!
ReplyDeleteBy the way...will you be doing this for Christmas??? I hope so, I don't care if there are door prizes...I just need a Chrsitmas fix. Living in a hotel in Wichita, KS, is going be very trying for me at that time of year. Haha, no pressure.
ReplyDeleteOh...I hope we are going to do this again for Christmas! I would love to see everyone's creative ideas for every holiday!
ReplyDeleteI think I added up 7 entries for myself.
There's a really cute apple wreath at http://www.bhg.com/decorating/seasonal/autumn/miniature-apple-wreath/ perfect for this time of year!
Why yes, Kevin, as a matter of fact I do have something in mind for Christmas. Inlcuding something like this but not limited to. And since this little thing is going so well, the Christmas idea is getting more and more complicated by the minute. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteWe need to have a little counseling session about you and craft stores. FOCUS is all you have to do. I think you need to march your self right back to that Michaels, get the few items on your list, leave, craft, and POST YOUR WREATH. :) You have a little over 24 hrs.
Ok, I think I have added up my entries correctly and came up with a total of 7. I linked up my wreath post to the party (3), I put your button in the post (2), I left a comment yesterday (1) and here's a link to two other great wreath posts (1):

Happy Fall!
I just linked up and I'm super excited about finding this party. What a fun and creative theme for a party!! :) I have 5 entries.
ReplyDeleteI am loving your blog! In fact, I would have become a follower even without the extra entry! :) Everything about it is good. Your blog title, your layout, the content.
And your wreath turned out super cute. My favorite part is that Pumpkin Pie sign!
Ok...first purchase made for my fall wreath. I take back what I said before...it's on! Ummm, I'm not sure how much time I have BUT I WILL have a wreath LOL...
ReplyDeleteKev ~ I think the correct term for this is "Indian Giver". That OK though. The more wreaths, the merrier!
ReplyDeleteI just told some of my blogging friends about your contest and I told them to enter.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Amy
I follow...
ReplyDeleteHere is one of my blogging friends that I told to enter your wreath party...I love her creation

ReplyDeleteWell, I'd be knocking on your door to get my piece of pie! Really cute wreath. I just came across your contest, so I'll take a photo of my fall wreath and post a blog entry about it lickety-split! That is, 'Post before midnight tonight'! :)
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by! I am a wreath addict and yours is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell what a fun party this is! The wreaths are all great and it's always interesting to see what other people come up with! Thanks for hosting. And now for the good part...drum roll please!.....8 entries! Hope I win something!!!
ReplyDeleteYup, not gonna make it. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteI think I qualify for 4 entries in your contest: 3 for 'sharing the goods' and 1 for my earlier comment. Thank you for hosting the party.
ReplyDeleteNow, to tour all the other entries! I think we should do this for Christmas/winter too!
Okay, I McLinkyed my wreath post! Whooo! That's 3 entries! I previously invited friends to your wreath party by way of my blog. 2 entries! I left a previous comment. 1 entry. And I'm for sure a Red Writing follower. 1 entry. That's a total of 7!
ReplyDeleteI also love you to pieces and have been your best friend for 28 years. I think that should get me like 30 more entries! He! I want that purse and/or mock scarf. Hehe!
Okay, time to look at what everyone else did and be jealous! Ha!
Keelie,
ReplyDeleteI don't see McLinky anymore. I just posted 1 more wreath on my teacher blog.

It's pretty price sufficient for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made just right content as you did, the net will be a lot more helpful than ever before.
