The theme for this first week is Christmas List. I think it will be so fun to see how everyone interprets the theme differently. Some ideas I came up with for the Christmas List post are:
- your actual Christmas wish list (the obvious)
- a list of all the stuff you do during the holidays
- a child's sweet/comical list from years past
- one of your lists from years past
- how you keep organized (using lists?) during the season
- a list of your favorite Christmas {fill in the blank} songs, foods, activities, movies, etc.
Week 1 Giveaway
This is a work still in progress, but you can kind of get the idea. It is a clipboard that hangs on the wall. You can use the clip to attach a picture, Christmas cards, an ornament, or even some type of LIST! I think it's cute and I hope YOU win it!How to Enter the Week 1 Giveaway (2 chances)

I'm so excited! I have also been thinking about Christmas a lot, and have some great thpughts for gifts to make:)
ReplyDeleteOh Keelie. You had me at "List."
ReplyDeleteYou're going to die when I tell you this.
I actually have a Christmas Binder. In it I have (dare I confess this?) an actual graph paper with a schematic drawing of my holiday floor plan. In fact, I am sitting at my computer desk right now, looking at my four huge rubber maid tubs, which I just lugged inside yesterday, (seriously, yesterday) and went through, taking my inventory so I know what will be placed where. (does this disqualify me as a nutcase? My man says "yes.")
I have a Christmas card list of who I sent and received from last year.
A list of what I need to replace such as lights, broken ornaments etc.
I have my gift list- people to buy for, with ideas and approx. costs.
And I have clippings for decorating ideas, baking ideas, and craft ideas.
I am also making a song download list.
I normally have a baking and shopping list, but my daughter has a corn syrup allergy and I just haven't gotten that all figured out yet... how do you make fudge with out using any corn products such as marshmallow creme? I will be on that shortly.
Oh I love this fun post girl.

I am a follower of yours and love your new posts for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSince 1993, I purchased a Christmas Memories book which houses 20 years worth of Christmas memories in it for you to fill. Each year, I take it out and spend priceless moments looking back at letters for Santa our kids have written, that I have kept, lists for presents, company we have shared, our family's pictures, favorite Christmas cards and tree pictures. It provides such warmth and comfort to see how we overcame difficult holidays where we had very little money and times where we had abundances.
This is a must for every family and even now, last year, I bought one for my oldest daughter to capture her next 20 years in her own words.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
