Dear Santa,
I have been a very good girl this year. Oh, but you already know that. Are you working hard on Christmas gifts? I hope so. I am sure that you love what you do since you have been doing it for so long. You must be very happy this time of year when business really picks up! I have already given much thought to my Christmas wish list and would now like to share it with you.
I would really like a new glue gun since mine has lost the little stand that holds it up and it always seems to scorch whatever it is sitting on. I think it's a hazard, Santa. I would also like some new pot holders because all of mine have disappeared and I am honestly tired of burning my fingers every time I try to pull food out of the oven using my apron. I would like some spray paint because I like to buy really old, ugly-looking stuff now and spray paint it. My favorite colors are oil rubbed bronze, chalkboard, and grayish blue. Could I please get some Kitchen Lemon hand soap from Bath and Body Works? It is the best. I also need one of those really long dusters for the ceiling fan and a little duster for everything else. The kind with the long handle and feathers on the end? Yes, one of those please. I would also like one or a few Tyler candles with either a fruity or spicy scent. I cherish my 2004 Southern Living compilation cookbook. I need the ones from other years. I am really wanting to make some fruit preserves so could you bring me a few jars for canning? Do you do fruit trees? Like ones that are already producing? If so, I'll take a peach, plum, and apricot tree. Just put them out back by the swing set. Now Santa, listen--if you get tired or are running behind, you can just forget about all of my requests and leave me a gift card to Marshall's, TJ Maxx, or Ross. Hobby Lobby would also suffice.
Well, I think that's just about everything. I am so excited that you will be coming soon. I am going to leave you some very yummy cookies and a fresh pot of coffee. I know you will be very tired by the time you get here. We still don't have a chimney so just let yourself in the backdoor. Santa, I always seem to think of more things I need as Christmas draws near. You should really consider getting a Facebook account so that I can reach you at the last minute to update my list. Just a suggestion. I will be thinking fondly of you often over the next 12 weeks. Let me know if you have any questions about my list! Thank you.
Love,
Red Writing
