Idol Thoughts Return

I am kind of a big fan of American Idol. Last year I took the liberty of posting a commentary of the show every week. I have opinions. Lots of them. At that point only about 10 people read my blog but most of them (family and friends) were faithful to chime in with their comments and opinions from week to week. It was fun and I am so excited that the new season starts back up this week--whoohoo!!!

I am super excited to tell you that there is an added element of Idol-hype for me this year. One of my husband's relative's friends makes it to Hollywood! That's all I'll say for now as I don't want to give it away but this is certainly going to spice up my Idol Thoughts for 2010.

I'm practically related to the next possible American Idol!

The first two episodes air Tuesday and Wednesday night. If you are an Idol fan, check back here on Thursday. Oh, and if you're wondering about my credibility as a commentator, I was pretty much on the mark all through last season and my favorite became the American Idol. I KNOW what I'm talking about, people. Just kidding! But seriously, I do.

Here are some examples of my Idol Thoughts from last year.

  1. DVR is set. Popcorn is bought. I'm ready too. Oh...and I love that I will be able to say that I am friends with someone who is practically related to the next possible American Idol! LOL

  2. I had a link to Danny Gokey (from last year) and that totally made it way cooler to watch. I'm kind of ready to bow out of the whole American Idol thing, but I want to watch to see what Ellen brings to the table.
