I didn't really know my Grammy. She was leaving as I was coming, but she left behind a hand-written legacy that shows me what she was all about and what she hoped and prayed that I would be about. What a blessing. More from Grammy to come...

What a precious legacy, Keelie! Don't you feel like you know her better after reading this and even seeing her handwriting?
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather died about 13 or so years before I was born. A few years ago, I found a whole bunch of minute books from my home church's session meetings. My grandfather had been the secretary and wrote the notes, and what a blessing it was just to see his handwriting and read those notes!
When I was about 9 years old, I found my grandmother's (who also died before I was born) weight watchers tracker from the 70s. I wish I had it now to read. =)
