Mother's Day Interview: The Correct Answers

Me: What does Mommy say a lot?
Jonah: "I love you."
Yes, it's true. I do say this a lot.

Me: What does Mommy like to eat the most?
Jonah: Salad
While I do enjoy eating salad, I don't really have one thing I like to eat the most. Just wanted to see what he'd say.

Me: What is Mommy's favorite thing to do?
Jonah: Go to work
Um, no. This answer nearly made me lose it. Of course he thinks it is my favorite thing to do since I do it everyday all day long. Why else would I do it? My actual favorite thing to do is spend time with my family.

Me: What is Mommy's favorite thing to do with you?
Jonah: Hold me
Yes, I really do enjoy this! I also love to have our bedtime "conversations." We take turns asking each other silly questions such as "What would a strawberry say to a banana?" Good times!

Me: What does Mommy always say to Daddy?
Jonah: "Cut that out, Daddy!"
Hmmm... Something like that, yes indeed.

Me: What is Mommy's favorite color?
Jonah: Red
Right-o!

Me: What is your favorite thing to do with Mommy?
Jonah: Kiss you
Who can argue with that?

Me: What is Mommy's favorite place to eat?
Jonah: Chick-fil-a
Well, for fast food, yes. The "sit-down" restaurant (as we call it) that is my favorite would have to be Mi Cocina or John's Pizzeria in NYC

Me: Who is Mommy's best friend?
Jonah: Me
Me: Who is Mommy's next-best friend?
Jonah: Daddy
He got these mixed up :)

Me: What scares Mommy?
Jonah: A mouse
Yes they do, my friends!

Me: What is Mommy's favorite T.V. show?
Jonah: American Idol
Pretty sure there is no question here. Others close to the top include The Biggest Loser, House MD, Barefoot Contessa...

Me: Who is Mommy's favorite singer?
Jonah: John Mayer
:)

Me: What is Mommy really good at?
Jonah: Driving
No one has ever complimented me on my driving skills. In fact, Jonah likes to tell me when I am going too fast and roll through stop signs so I am not really understanding this response. I think I am really good at creative/decorative problem solving.

Me: What is the best thing Mommy fixes to eat?
Jonah: Pancakes
I am glad he appreciates the effort it takes to stick frozen disks in a microwave.

I have to say--the kiddo knows his mama! I was really impressed (and surprised) by his attentiveness and thoughtfulness as he listened to and answered these questions. Can't wait until next year...Glory will be talking!

Happy Mother's Day to all!
