Two Heavenly Homemade Gifts

The original and ultimate Homemade Christmas gift was Christ himself. Handcrafted by The Maker of all, Jesus is Teacher, Friend, Lord, and Savior all wrapped up in one package. This unfathomable gift has been extended to all of mankind and offers the promise of hope, love and His amazing, saving grace. It is my sincere prayer that you have accepted this precious homemade gift from above. All others simply pale in comparison. If you would like to know more about this gift, please email me! keeliesue@live.com

Now after having said all of that, sharing my cocoa mix recipe seems a bit insignificant. Oh well. You NEED to know this too.

Keelie's Perfect Hot Chocolate

2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup Hershey's cocoa
2 1/2 cups powdered milk (processed to fine powder)
1 teaspoon salt
1 T flour

Mix everything together and store in air-tight container. Put 1/3 cup mix in cup. Fill with hot water. Stir and Enjoy! Super secret: use this instead of sugar and creamer in your coffee. Ohhhh, yeah.

I made up several bags of Cocoa mix for gifts. I think it is a good idea to have some go-to gifts ready way before the holiday season gets in full swing. These make good gifts for hostesses, teachers, or Santa ;)

Here is the simple way I packaged the cocoa:

The cute little sacks were only 25 cents each at Wal-Mart.

  3. Love your message. Love your packaging. And that recipe sounds fabulous! I have also packaged hot cocoa as gifts for families in those little plastic holiday tubs you can buy at the dollar store. But your packaging is definitely much, much cuter!
