365 Days of The Bible

That title is just my funny way of inviting you to join with me in reading through the Bible in 2010. I'm not going to give away prizes or host linky things or even promise to post every week... I am just putting it "out there" that I AM going to do this and you are more than welcome to join along.

I have attempted to do this many times before, but I don't think I can claim I have actually read the entire Bible straight through. {Sad, I know} There is no doubt this will be a life-changing experience and I am very excited.

I just thought if anyone else is doing this it might be fun to blog about it from time to time. I was thinking of using my blog as a year-long journal. The plan I am using is here. I am going to print this out and secure it to the inside of my Bible. You could also just use the links for each day and do your reading online. That would be easy! Supposedly this plan takes apx. 15 min a day.

As one very wise momma likes to tell her children from time to time, "Jesus died on the cross for you; I think you can do {fill in the blank} for Him." Hmm. Good point, Mom.

Let me know if you're in!

  2. I think I'm in....I want to be in....I NEED to be in! : ) I will probably go for a different plan as I feel a need to sample from various places, yet still covering it in a year. I think this is a great idea Keelie, and I know you and everyone in your life will benefit. That's just how it works! : ) Blessings, and Happy New Year!

  13. I'm late in responding but had already decided to do this in 2010. I'm glad others are doing it too. I have read the Bible, but never cover to cover. My sister has been doing it every year for many years now and loves it. Let's achieve this great goal together in 2010! :)
