Barbecue Chicken Pizza

Bar-B-Que Chicken Pizza
Ingredients:
tortilla
barbecue sauce
chicken
grated cheese
thinly sliced red onion
cilantro

Step 1: Into the broiler until crisp--not long.
Step2: Add barbecue sauce. KC Masterpiece, which I normally do not care for, seems to work well on this pizza.
Step 3: Add chopped or shredded chicken. I used a left-over piece from lunch. Grilled, smoked, rotisserie, or even fried would work.

Step 4: Add shredded cheddar cheese.

Step 5: Add some thinly sliced red onion. Don't leave off this important flavor component! Remember--THINLY sliced.
Step 6: Put back under the broiler for about 5 min until the cheese melts.
This is when you would add cilantro if you like. I am not a fan...

  2. Looks wonderful, Keelie. I too am not a fan of cilantro, but my husband would devour every sprig known to man if possible. I'm with your first commentor, you're blog is adorable. I love the changes you've made....my favorite is the Red Writing in the Kitchen graphic. Blessings!-Kathy
